How to compare laboratory peptide prices

Start with the same compound and nominal vial size, then check price per mg and the final supplier total.

1. Match the product before the price

Compare the same compound, formulation and intended laboratory specification. Similar names do not always mean the same material. CJC-1295 with DAC and CJC-1295 No DAC remain separate in Yopepi. A blend also needs its component quantities checked: two 10 mg blends may have different ratios.

Yopepi normalises known spelling variants and removes vial strength from the product name, storing it separately. Ambiguous names should be reported rather than assumed equivalent.

2. Calculate price per mg

Divide the listed pack price by the nominal quantity of material in that pack:

Price per mg = listed pack price ÷ nominal pack mass in mg

Illustrative example, not a live supplier offer: a single 10 mg vial listed at A$60 is A$6 per mg. A single 20 mg vial listed at A$100 is A$5 per mg. The larger vial has a lower nominal unit price but costs more upfront.

Nominal mass is the quantity on the listing, not a laboratory measurement of net peptide content or a purity-adjusted amount. Price per mg does not verify identity, purity, sterility or suitability.

3. Compare like-for-like vial sizes

Yopepi’s main comparison cards use 10, 20, 30 and 40 mg options where reliable listings exist. CJC-1295 with DAC shows its actual listed sizes. The card starts at the smallest available eligible size, so an unavailable 10 mg listing can fall back to the next available size.

A multi-vial kit price must not be treated as the price of one vial. Unclear bundles, ranges without an explicit variant price and listings without reliable size or currency information are excluded from comparisons.

4. Check the final supplier total

Yopepi shows published AUD prices, excluding shipping and checkout fees. A supplier with a lower listed price may have a higher delivered total once freight or other charges are added.

Compare the final total for the same quantity and delivery address. Check tax treatment, minimum order requirements and any conditions on discount codes directly with the supplier. We do not estimate a delivered price when those details are missing.

5. Read availability and timestamps

Connected feeds are scheduled for hourly checks, but prices and availability can change between checks. Read the timestamp on the individual offer. A failed source check does not make an old price new.

Confirmed out-of-stock offers are excluded. “Not confirmed” means the source did not provide a reliable availability signal; it is not a promise of stock. Recheck the supplier before procurement.

Common questions

Does Yopepi find every supplier in Australia?

No. Discovery is ongoing and some verified sources do not have a supported public price feed. The supplier directory distinguishes connected catalogues from pending sources.

Do advertisers get better price rankings?

No. Advertising is separate from the price comparison. Read our disclosures.

Is the lowest price always the best laboratory choice?

No. Price alone cannot establish equivalent formulation, documentation or suitability. Review supplier specifications and batch documentation for your laboratory’s requirements.

What if a price is incorrect?

Use “Report incorrect price” on the comparison card, or the contact form. Include the supplier link and the size you checked. Reports do not alter prices automatically.
